Great Value Vacations wanted to create a fun inspiring web presence that truly showcased the breadth of their trip packages. They also wanted to increase conversions and time spent on the site.
Users wanted to know exactly what to expect before purchasing a curated package so they could imagine themselves on a trip and get excited about it. They also lost interest in checkout if the process was too long, and this was leading to drop offs in conversions.

Interactive packages, a seamless checkout flow, and easter eggs along the way.
We built interactive package pages that allowed users to explore everything on their trip down to the rental cars they would get, and the amenities at the hotels they’d be staying in. We also built a seamless check out flow that added fun trip add-ons along the way to keep the level of excitement up. The brand itself we made as lively as we could, with bright tropical pops of color and emotional imagery that work together to capture what it feels like to be on a really great vacation.

The spirit of each vacation
When working on this project we asked ourselves, what do people feel when they’re on a really great vacation and how can we capture that for the Great Value Vacations brand. A great vacation is relaxed, fun, non-pretentious, and exciting. That’s how we wanted users to feel when they were on GVV’s website. The image styles all needed to capture the feeling of each of the locations, and bring a sense of awe or an urge to get our and go. We wanted to use full color photographs with contrasts to pair with our bright color palette to make it even more of an uplifting, fun experience.
