KIND wanted to shift consumer purchasing away from third party sites such as Amazon and back to their own website. They also wanted to capture the spirit of the team & the product. Consumers have considerable stigmas when it comes to snack bars. They think they’re all full of sugar and fake ingredients. When it comes to buying bars they almost never consider buying them on a brand’s own website, since they can find them at considerably cheaper prices on Amazon or in store at places like Costco.

 
 

We created an extremely fun, easy to browse website where consumers could learn as much as possible about the bars and the brand itself. We built the option to subscribe to boxes, for brand enthusiasts and businesses, and the option to build your own boxes based on individual preferences. The image rich experience focuses on the ingredients in each bar, and is organized based on how consumers think of snacking — by activity, time of day, and taste profile.

Only natural ingredients.

With KIND you never need to worry about additives so we wanted to highlight that in everything from copy to imagery. The slogan ‘ingredients you can see and pronounce’ was the basis for art direction across the site. No tricks or gimmicks, just the ingredients as they are before and after they go into each bar.
