Part 1

Discovery

Understanding the key problems the brand solves for users. I dig into who the brand is talking to, what value they’re offering, and why, how, when, and where users are interacting. Includes:

— Competitive Analysis
— User Personas
— User Journey Maps
— Interviews, Focus Groups, & Surveys

Part 2

Ideation

I collaborate with teams to come up with creative ways to solve the problems uncovered during Discovery. To confirm hypotheses I test out ideas with prototypes, surveys, or interviews. Includes:

— Design studios
— Creative sessions
— Prototyping
— Interviews & Surveys

 

Part 3

Creation

I focus on how the creative ideas developed can work across all brand touchpoints. By taking in the picture holistically I’m able to create a brand that people understand, remember, and love. Includes:

— Brand strategy
— Experience strategy
— Visual strategy
— Content strategy

Part 4

Implementation

It’s time to create design systems by incorporating all the knowledge acquired during the discovery, ideation, and strategy phases. Great design is never static, and after it’s been implemented it should be continually iterated on to continue meeting, and exceeding target customers’ needs! Includes:

— UX architecture
— Visual concepts
— Interactions
— Design Library
— Testing & pairing with Eng.
— Launch 🎉
